    The CSO's responsibilities typically include:

  • Identifying and assessing strategic opportunities
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans
  • Managing the company's risk portfolio
  • Overseeing the company's performance against its strategic goals

Technology & Innovation

Technology and innovation are two closely related concepts that are often used interchangeably. However, there is a subtle difference between the two.

  • 1) Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes. It is the process of creating new products or services that use scientific knowledge.
  • 2) Innovation is the process of introducing new ideas or new ways of doing things. It is the application of new knowledge or new ways of thinking to create something new.

Technology and innovation are essential for economic growth and development. They help businesses to create new products and services, which can lead to increased productivity and profits. They also help to improve the quality of life for people by providing new solutions to problems.

Finance

Finance is the study of money, currency, and capital assets. It is related to, but not synonymous with economics, which is the study of production, distribution, and consumption of money, assets, goods and services (the discipline of financial economics bridges the two). Finance activities take place in financial systems at various scopes, thus the field can be roughly divided into personal, corporate, and public finance. In a financial system, assets are bought, sold, or traded as financial instruments, such as currencies, loans, bonds, shares, stocks, options, futures, etc.

NPA to Business

NPA stands for non-performing asset. In the context of banking, an NPA is a loan or advance that has been overdue for more than 90 days. This means that the borrower has not made any payments on the loan for more than 3 months.
